I purchased this plant today for my kitchen, a Lemon Thyme herb. I was reading this very funny book, Our Lady Of Weight Loss, by Janice Taylor, and on page 213 see talks about getting this plant for the kitchen. So I did. I already had the cute yellow pot to plant it in. It was a gift. Next to the plant is my dog walking lady, also a gift. and the cute fabric placemat that my Mom made :) Love you Mom!

What a special spot with memorable tokens from loved ones. Very sweet. I just love lemon thyme. You can brush by it and enjoy such an amazing aroma. Enjoy.

ReplyDeleteJust looked at the photos of the beautiful produce that you have grown! Isn't it a great feeling to be able to pick tea (dinner) from your own little patch of earth. I used to grow lemon thyme and it nearly took over the herb garden!

I planted thyme in our yard for the first time this year. It's time consuming to cook with, but so fragrant...definitely worth it!
