a luffa and a pumpkin

This luffa snuck up on me. One day it wasn't there and the next day...BAM! and 6 inch long luffa! In the photo it's about 14 inches long. Seems to be a fast grower. So far it's the only luffa that I see.

Below: A pumpkin growing. It's about the size of a golfball right now.

  1. Wow Jill, the loofa looks amazing. I will have to read more about that. Seen them grown other places, but didn't realize they could be grown here.

My crazy pumkins are all turning orange and soon ready to be harvested. Seems rather early this year. Think next year I will have to plant them later than everything else.

Enjoy the lovely cool weather we are having.
